Murder Duels Knives

Learn the Murder Duels knife role and browse a currently documented knife-skin list with rarity and acquisition fields that still need live checks.

The knife is one of the two weapons every player receives in a Murder Duels round. The official description confirms its place in the loadout and its unique skills. Community documentation describes close attacks on tap and a thrown knife on hold and release. Confirm the current input, charge, recovery, and hit rules in your client before using an old timing.

This is a known sample from the checked community index, not a complete current inventory. The community value tracker shows many later lines and variants, including serialized or paired names. Confirm every item in the live inventory before adding source, rarity, or value.

Use the knife at close range

Approach through cover or while the opponent is committed. Keep movement deliberate enough that the camera remains on target. A missed close action can leave you inside the opponent’s easiest revolver angle, so know the recovery before forcing a second attempt.

If the current client supports tap melee, test its reach against a visible landmark rather than estimating from animation. Learn whether movement continues, slows, or locks during the action. Those details decide whether a route is safe.

Practice the throw

Community documentation describes holding and releasing to throw. Confirm the device prompt and watch how charge, travel, and recovery appear. Start against a stationary target or predictable path. Release where the target is going only after observing whether the projectile has travel time in the current build.

Do not prepare a throw in a fully exposed lane. Use cover while charging when possible, expose for the release, and move after a miss. In a team mode, consider other sightlines before focusing on the thrown target.

Choose knife skills by role

The current community skill record names Triple Knife, Explosive Knife, Deflect, Molotov Knife, Portal Knife, and Smoke Knife in the knife category. Names do not establish exact effects. Open the live description, check cost and cooldown, and test only one change at a time.

Use the Skills List for the documented Dex and the Unlock Guide before spending Coins.

Compare skins correctly

First compare first-person visibility. A skin should not obscure the center or hide an opponent during an action. Next verify the exact inventory name, rarity, source, and tradeability. Finally consider personal preference or community demand. Do not treat rarity as damage.

When names form a pair with a gun, confirm that both items exist separately in inventory. A shared theme does not prove a bundle currently awards both, and one side of a set can trade separately.

Find a knife’s source

Check the live item detail for Shop, Case, bundle, event, code, default, or trade source. If the source is a Case, inspect the current pool and displayed probability. If it is limited, check whether direct acquisition ended and whether player trading remains enabled.

Community records can preserve history, but an old Shop price or Case pool should remain dated. The Weapon Skins guide provides a reusable record format.

Knife mistakes to avoid

  • Crossing open space with the knife because the opponent missed once.
  • Assuming the throw timing from another Roblox duel game.
  • Repeating a missed throw from the same position.
  • Buying a skin for a supposed damage advantage without an item description.
  • Confusing a paired skin name with ownership of both weapons.
  • Copying a value or rarity without checking the current item and date.

What remains to verify

The complete knife catalog, exact controls, melee reach, throw charge and travel, hit rules, skill interactions, rarity, acquisition, drop rates, current availability, tradeability, and values require live testing. Keep unknown fields empty rather than completing the list from unrelated games.
