Every Murder Duels round gives players a knife and a revolver. Breakfast officially describes both as core weapons, gives both a set of abilities, and lets players unlock skins as they progress. Public community catalogs add many skin and collectible names, but rarity, source, stock, drop rate, serial supply, trade status, and value can change. This hub separates stable weapon roles from dated collection data.

Core weapon roles

The revolver is the ranged half of the loadout. Prepare the crosshair at a likely angle, expose as little as possible, act, and return to cover. The community Wiki describes its documented gun class as automatically reloading after each shot, but exact timing and current skill interactions must be observed in the live build.

The knife is the close-range half. Community documentation reports tap-based melee and a hold-and-release throw. Follow current tutorial prompts on your device, because controls and recovery can change during beta. Close distance through cover or opponent commitment rather than crossing a visible lane without a plan.

Both weapons matter in every set. A player who uses only one gives opponents a predictable range. Switch when distance, cover, or skill timing changes—not simply because the other weapon has a rarer skin.

The examples are a currently documented sample, not a complete inventory. The community value tracker contained more than one hundred rows at the check date, and some names appear once per paired gun and knife or in serialized variants. Preserve each type and serial instead of collapsing distinct inventory items into one label.

How to read a skin record

A useful record includes name, weapon type, displayed rarity, current source, acquisition status, tradeability, serial if applicable, version or check date, and evidence level. Unknown fields should remain blank. A value number is a separate community market field and should never replace source or rarity.

Check the in-game inventory first. Confirm the exact name and icon. Open the detail panel for rarity and source if shown. Then check whether the Trade interface accepts the item. A community site can help identify demand, but it cannot guarantee that a Shop rotation, stock counter, or trade rule still matches the current server.

Skins do not prove combat power

The official description presents skins as unlockable progression. No first-party evidence reviewed here states that a rarer knife or revolver skin increases damage, accuracy, reload speed, movement, or ability strength. Treat a skin as cosmetic unless the live item description explicitly states a mechanical effect.

Visual readability can still affect player comfort. A large effect may distract one player while another finds it easy to track. Test the equipped view and action animation before assuming an expensive appearance helps competitive performance.

Cases, Shop, and limited sources

Community sources document Cases opened for random weapon skins, Shop purchases, bundles, and limited collectibles. Exact prices, contents, probabilities, and current availability change too easily to copy without a live check. The Cases Guide explains how to inspect a pool before opening, while the Shop Guide separates Coins, Robux, and other currency decisions.

For limited items, distinguish original acquisition from current trading. A sold-out Shop item may still move between players if the current trade system allows it. A numbered collectible should keep its serial in the record because two copies of the same name can have different market interest.

Trade weapon skins safely

Before accepting, compare name, type, rarity, serial, and any variant marker in the final confirmation. Do not rely on a chat message or thumbnail. Recheck the offered inventory after every change. Keep community value numbers dated and separate from official fields.

Use the Trading Guide for a complete confirmation routine and the Value List for a non-official comparison method.

Build a collection by goal

If you want visual variety, choose a knife and revolver you can identify clearly in first person. If you want a matched set, verify both inventory entries rather than assuming one bundle name grants both. If you collect limited serials, prioritize provenance and exact serial over a generic rarity label. If you trade, keep liquid items and personal favorites separate so a market shift does not force you to sell what you actually use.

Do not open Cases merely because a rare item exists in the pool. Check probability display, duplicate handling, and the opportunity cost of Coins. A direct Shop purchase can be easier to budget when available, while a Case trades certainty for chance.

What still needs in-game verification

The complete current catalog, exact rarity taxonomy, active sources, Case pools, drop probabilities, bundle contents, Shop rotations, tradeability, collectible supply, sold-out state, and every value need a live check. The official weapon types remain stable enough to guide play; the collection fields are dated by design.
