Murder Duels Skill Unlock Guide

Plan Murder Duels skill unlocks by role, verify current Coin costs, and avoid wasting early currency on stale or conflicting information.

Murder Duels skills are community documented as purchasable abilities with cooldowns, while the official description confirms unique abilities for the knife and revolver. Exact costs are not safe to copy from public pages: several individual Wiki records contradict themselves, and community summer notes report rebalanced skill costs. Read the current menu immediately before every purchase.

Do not do this
1. Finish tutorial
Use every provided skill and read the slot labels.
Assume an old tutorial reward still applies before seeing it.

Choose revolver, knife, movement, information, or recovery.
Buy the most dramatic name without a role.
3. Inspect live menu
Confirm description, slot, price, prerequisite, and balance.
Use a screenshot as the current cost.
4. Keep a reserve
Leave Coins for another important goal until income is understood.
Spend the entire balance on several untested skills.

Replay the same mode and situation across several sets.
Change two slots and settings simultaneously.

Finish the current tutorial

Community records describe Bullet Barrage and Triple Knife as available after the beginner tutorial at no Coin cost in the version documented there. Confirm the current flow. If those options appear, learn their activation and cooldown interface before opening the broader purchase list.

The tutorial teaches the contract of the system: which button activates a skill, where cooldown appears, how weapon and body categories occupy slots, and whether loadouts can be changed between rounds or only in the lobby. Record the live behavior because public descriptions do not define it.

Choose the problem before the skill

Review recent losses. If you miss clean ranged opportunities, do not automatically buy movement; first decide whether the problem is aim or weapon timing. If you cannot approach safely with the knife, inspect a knife or movement role. If opponents repeatedly surprise the team, inspect information. If recovery after a revolver action is the issue, inspect the current gun descriptions.

Write the desired result in one sentence: “I need a safer way to change position after first contact” is useful. “I need the best ability” is too broad. This sentence lets you reject options that do not solve the actual problem.

Read every live field

Confirm name, category, slot, effect description, displayed price, unlock prerequisite, and whether the menu explains cooldown. If a preview exists, use it. If the page offers a refund, respec, or trial, read the exact condition before depending on it. Public evidence did not establish current refund rules.

If a community page and live menu disagree, use the live menu for the current account and server. Save a dated note rather than editing your plan around the older figure. The game is in beta and economy values can change.

Build a Coin budget

Divide the current balance into a skill budget and a reserve. The reserve protects options such as Cases, Shop items, or a later skill after you understand income. Do not use an exact percentage from another player; earning pace and prices can change. Instead, keep enough to make one meaningful alternative decision.

Check the Coins guide for documented income categories without invented rates. If Coins arrive slowly in your current routine, prioritize tutorial options and one versatile purchase. If income is steady, you can test specialists after the first role is covered.

Test the purchase

Play several 1v1 sets with the same first-route plan. Record how often the skill became usable, whether it created the intended advantage, how opponents answered, and whether recovery left you exposed. Then test in the team size you actually play.

Do not judge only successful activations. Count rounds where the skill was ready but the opportunity never appeared and rounds where you held it too long. A cheaper, simpler option can be better when it creates value more often.

Decide the second unlock

If the first purchase solved its problem, cover a different weakness. If it failed because you did not understand the input, practice before buying. If it failed because the opportunity rarely exists in your mode, choose a different role. Avoid purchasing a second skill that competes for exactly the same moment unless the comparison is deliberate.

For a balanced early kit, combine one reliable weapon option with one body or second-weapon role only after the current slot rules are confirmed. The Skills List separates categories, and the Tier List gives a cautious learning order.

Troubleshoot unlock problems

If a skill appears locked, read the displayed prerequisite and confirm account progress. If the price changed, recheck the balance and server date. If a purchased skill is missing, inspect every loadout slot and inventory filter before buying again. Rejoin one fresh server after a major update, but do not repeat purchases blindly.

If a mobile button is absent, check whether the skill is equipped and review the current control layout. Use the Best Settings guide to place available buttons without covering aim.

What still needs live verification

The complete unlock order, current prices, level requirements, prerequisite chains, slot count, equip location, mid-match swapping, trials, refunds, and platform-specific activation must be observed in the current game. Those unknowns are reasons to inspect the menu, not reasons to invent a fixed route.
