Murder Duels gives skills to both official weapon types, and community documentation also records body skills. The official Roblox description confirms that the knife and revolver each have unique abilities, but it does not publish a complete list, cost table, cooldown sheet, or balance ranking. Use this hub to find the currently documented names, choose what to inspect in the live Skills menu, and avoid spending Coins on an outdated number.

These names come from the current community Wiki page inventory and change history checked on August 14, 2026. Several individual pages contradict themselves about prices, and some descriptions are stubs. That makes the names useful navigation evidence but not a reliable current stat sheet.

Learn the tutorial options first

The community Wiki reports Bullet Barrage and Triple Knife as tutorial-linked options with no Coin cost at the time of its record. Confirm that behavior in your account because tutorial rewards and prices can change. If the live client provides those skills, use them to learn activation, cooldown display, and slot behavior before buying anything.

Test one weapon at a time. Enter a low-pressure area or 1v1, activate the skill from a known position, and observe what the interface actually shows. Record whether the action changes your weapon, creates a projectile, moves the player, affects an area, or simply shortens a normal timing. Do not infer the effect from the name alone.

Compare skills by a repeatable method

A skill is strong only when you can create its opportunity, execute it reliably, survive its recovery, and gain more than the Coin and slot cost. Test these four dimensions separately. A dramatic result in one clip can hide a long cooldown, a narrow condition, or easy counterplay.

Use the same map, mode, and opponent behavior for comparisons. Run several rounds with the default option, then change one skill. Record how often it became useful, not only whether it produced one elimination. Team modes can change value because a skill may expose the user to another opponent or help several teammates act.

The Skills Tier List ranks learning and purchase priority cautiously. It is not an official balance list and does not pretend incomplete public data can identify a universal best skill.

Plan an unlock route

First, decide which part of your kit needs help: revolver pressure, knife approach, movement, information, or recovery. Inspect the live description for every candidate in that role. Confirm the displayed price and your balance immediately before purchase. Community summer notes report skill-cost rebalancing, which makes older price pages especially fragile.

Keep enough Coins for another meaningful goal, such as a Case or later skill, until you understand how quickly the current game pays Coins. Buy one option, test it across several sets, and only then decide whether the next purchase should strengthen the same plan or cover a different weakness.

The Skill Unlock Guide includes a decision route that separates the stable role question from changing numbers.

Use skills in each team size

In 1v1, a skill can be studied cleanly because only one opponent can punish it. Learn the cue, recovery, and opponent response. In 2v2, ask whether your teammate can act on the pressure or whether the animation isolates you. In 3v3 and 4v4, consider extra sightlines: an action that wins one angle may expose you to another.

Communicate the result rather than only the skill name. Tell teammates which lane is affected, whether an opponent moved, or whether your skill is unavailable. Exact cooldown numbers should come from the live UI, but “not ready for the next push” is still useful.

Skills and weapon skins are different decisions

The official description separates weapon abilities from unlockable knife and revolver skins. A rare or expensive skin should not be assumed to improve a skill. Check whether the live inventory shows any mechanical connection before linking appearance to performance.

When trading, confirm that an offered cosmetic is not being described as a permanent ability upgrade without evidence. The Weapons hub tracks cosmetic and collectible identity, while this Skills hub handles active combat choices.

Common mistakes

  • Buying from an old cost screenshot after a reported economy rebalance.
  • Calling a skill S tier from one highlight without measuring opportunity and recovery.
  • Assuming an effect from a name such as X-Ray, Deflect, or Portal Knife without reading the current description.
  • Changing the weapon skill and body skill together, then not knowing which changed the result.
  • Testing only in 1v1 and claiming the same value in 4v4.
  • Treating a community Wiki stub as official documentation.

What still needs live testing

The complete current list, exact descriptions, slot limits, unlock requirements, Coins costs, cooldowns, durations, damage, range, hit rules, visibility, invulnerability, cancellation, refund behavior, and patch balance need current in-game verification. Missing one field does not make the names useless; it means the field remains unset until observed.
