It also listed Crates/Cases and several unvalued items. These names demonstrate catalog breadth, not a frozen ranking.
This guide deliberately does not reproduce the numeric table. The tracker changed between recent crawls, including values and reported counts. Open the current source when comparing an offer, then write down the timestamp.
Match the exact item
Search the full name, including prefixes such as OG, Chroma, Negative, or another visible variant. Confirm whether the row is a knife, gun/revolver, finisher, Case, or collectible. For serialized items, confirm the exact number in the live inventory. A value for one side of a paired set does not automatically apply to the other.
If the tracker shows two rows with the same display name, look for type, serial, supply, or variant details. Do not choose the higher number simply because it benefits your offer.
Compare both sides consistently
Use one tracker snapshot and one unit system. Add the community values on each side only after identity is exact. Then adjust your decision for demand, liquidity, personal use, set completion, and confidence. A total is a starting point, not an automatic accept button.
If an item is unvalued, do not substitute a guess. Ask for recent in-game offers, compare similar verified items, and decide how much uncertainty you can accept. Declining is better than forcing a number under pressure.
Measure demand and liquidity
Demand is how many players want the item; liquidity is how easily you can find a fair trade. A low-supply collectible may have strong collector interest but few buyers. A common recognizable skin can move quickly despite a smaller reference number.
Track actual recent offers, not only asking prices. One player requesting an extreme overpay does not establish market value. Several independent completed or credible offers within a short period are more useful, though still community evidence.
Handle value changes
Values can move after updates, new Cases, Shop returns, balance changes, event endings, or a surge in supply. Keep the old snapshot for history but use the new dated number for current comparisons. Do not accuse another player of scamming solely because they use a slightly different update time; inspect the source and negotiate.
If two reputable community references disagree sharply, reduce confidence. Trade only when you would still accept the items if the disputed number moves against you.
Evaluate collectibles and sets
For collectibles, add exact serial and verified item type. Lower serials can attract interest, but there is no universal multiplier. For sets, verify every component in the offer. A matching name does not mean the gun, knife, and finisher are all present.
For Cases, consider whether you intend to keep or open them. Opening converts a known tradable item into a random result, so the expected outcome depends on current probabilities and duplicate rules that must be checked in game.

- Values checked from the same source and date.
